The Manager and coaches Corner is dedicated to all the coaches and managers who volunteer their time and energy to TVGSA program. Our goal is to help you succeed in your efforts to teach the game of fastpitch softball to your players and provide them with a positive environment in which to play the game. The information provided on this page is just a small part of the instructional and support materials available to you. Please fill out the Volunteer Application.  Background checks are free to Managers. (Coaches, Team parents and parents who wish to volunteer will need to pay the background check fee of $50).

Concussion Training ⇨

HEADS UP Concussion in Youth Sports is a free, online course available to managers, parents, and others helping to keep athletes safe from concussion. Once you complete the training and quiz, you will need to upload your certificate to your USA Softball account. What Will I Learn in This Training? This course will help you: Understand a concussion and the potential consequences of this injury, recognize concussion signs and symptoms and how to respond, learn about steps for returning to activity play after a concussion, and focus on prevention and preparedness to help keep athletes safe season-to-season. Please read and sign the Managers Code of Conduct forms and email a copy to president@tvgsa.org.

Managers and coaches must understand that their actions and behaviors influence, shape, and often dictate how the young people they are leading behave on and off the field. The manager and coach should be able to inspire respect and must have understanding, patience, and the capacity to work with children, parents, and league officials
