Season FAQ's

How will I be placed on a team?
Teams are selected by a draft by the managers. Managers pick names from a hat to pick the draft order and it is a serpentine order system. Each manager has their pick until all the girls are selected. 

How will I find out on which team I am placed?
Usually the day after the draft for your division is when you should get a call from the manager informing you. Check our calendar for draft dates.

 Can I be on my friend's team?
Buddy requests are only granted in our 6U age division.  If your player is in an older age division, you can submit a carpool request due to hardship.  However, there are no guarantees.  The request must be approved by all managers in that age division.  All requests must be in writing and sent to playeragent@tvgsa.org.

When does the season begin and end?
Our Fall season begins September and ends in November and Spring starts in February and ends in May.

Must I wear my uniform to all games?
Yes

How long before the game, do I need to show up?
This is up to the manager, but generally 1 hour before the game.

How long are the games?
90 minutes long. 6u T-Ball is 60 minutes.

What about scores, standings, playoffs, and trophies?
Wins and losses are determined by the scores at the end of each game. Please refer to the TVGSA rules for more details on scores.

Where will games be played?

All Spring games will be played at our home field – Paloma Del Sol (PDS)

Fall games are usually played at Temecula Elementary and Birdsall Sports Park.

Will we inter-league with another league?

All games will be played within TVGSA league. With exception for 14U/Uppers.  This is TBD each season.

Can I play my child up a division?

Possibly. All requests to play up must be made in writing to the Player Agent at playeragent@tvgsa.org.  All requests are subject to board approval and space available in the age division.

Do I need to live in Temecula to join Temecula Girls Softball?

No. We have a growing number of girls from all over the neighboring cities such as, Murrieta, Menifee, French Valley and Lake Elsinore who are joining our program each season.

Coaching and Volunteering

We have an online application for Managers, Coaches and Volunteers. We need coaches, managers and volunteers every year, please volunteer.
